Gameplay Group International has confirmed that Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will be coming this summer, with a release date set for July 2nd. Alongside the confirmation of the release date, the base roster for Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game has been confirmed alongside price points, the pre-order bonus, and the different editions. Before we get into that, you can watch the new trailer below which shows new gameplay.
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will have a base roster of 12 playable characters including Aang, Katara, Zuko, Sokka, Korra, Zaheer, Ozai, Azula, Toph, and Avatar Kyoshi. The last two characters are yet to be confirmed. The modes that the game will launch with include a Story, Arcade, Training, local multiplayer and online multiplayer. The online multiplayer will feature crossplay between platforms and have rollback netcode. If you just want to watch fights there will be a Spectator mode, and for those who want to see artwork from the show’s history, including never before seen stuff, there will be a gallery mode.
There are two editions of Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game that are available. The standard edition will be the base game and that is priced at ÂŁ24.99/$29.99. The Digital Deluxe Edition will include the base game, the year one pass that will give access to five more characters as they release, a digital artbook, and the digital soundtrack. This version is priced at ÂŁ41.99/$49.99. If you decide to pre-order Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game the Samurai Appa skin, exclusive colour variants for Aang, Korra, Zuko, Katara, Toph, and Sokka, and a vote for the year one character pass to decide who joins the roster.
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will be available for PC, PS5, Xbox Series XS, Switch 2, and Switch.
