The Assassin’s Creed series “exceeded” Ubisoft’s expectations for the latest quarter, the French publisher has confirmed, while also providing updates on the success of the last two big games, Mirage and Shadows.
In its latest earnings briefing, Ubisoft said the Assassin’s Creed series overall “posted a strong performance” in the latest quarter, including sales of the newest game, Shadows, and back-catalog titles. The Assassin’s Creed series had more than 211 million “session days” so far in 2025, which is about 35% higher than the average for the past two years, Ubisoft said.
Ubisoft added that the recent launch of the New Game+ mode for Shadows benefitted the game, as did the Claws of Awaji expansion. The publisher said the game now stands to “reach a broader audience” when it releases for Nintendo Switch 2 on December 2.
