The remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was confirmed by Ubisoft in early March, and is likely to be back in the news soon. In fact, the French publisher may make another announcement in the coming days.
According to BlackBate on ResetEra, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced will be fully unveiled on April 16, 2026. Another event is also reportedly scheduled for the end of the month. The website Insider Gaming has corroborated this information.
As for the release date, it is currently scheduled for the second quarter of the current fiscal year. The launch could therefore take place between June and August 2026. July is the most likely month, as it appears in an internal Ubisoft document.
Of course, a delay cannot be ruled out.
