While Helldivers 2 is a critical and commercial success, it still has flaws that developers need to fix. What’s more, there were some new issues introduced with the Into the Unjust update in early September.
During an interview, game director Mikael Eriksson admitted that significant problems remain. Helldivers 2 needs a smoother frame rate on every platform and needs to iron out bugs and crashes that can occur. Balancing issues have also been identified.
Arrowhead Game Studios has therefore decided to prioritize these fixes, with content updates and features currently in development being delayed as a result.
“We take this very seriously and are focusing much more on resolving these issues to ensure that this kind of thing doesn’t happen again. We have made the decision to push back some of our content and feature updates a little further down the line in order to resolve these issues and ensure that we can achieve a much more stable state.”

It’s great to see that Arrowhead is committed to improving Helldivers 2, especially given its success. Addressing flaws shows a dedication to enhancing the player experience. Looking forward to what updates they have in store!
Absolutely! It’s encouraging when developers are proactive about addressing issues, as it shows they value player feedback. I’m curious to see how these fixes will enhance the overall gameplay experience in the long run.
