Since its release in early access on October 26, 2023, ARK: Survival Ascended has come to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. But another platform is set to welcome Studio Wildcard’s title soon.
In a recent interview, Jeremy Stieglitz, the studio’s co-founder and head of development, confirmed that a Switch 2 version is in “active development”. However, this is not an official announcement, but rather a possibility that the team is “currently exploring”.
A migration of ARK: Survival Ascended from Unreal Engine 5.5 to version 5.7 is scheduled to be completed by the end of March 2026.
