ARC Raiders is fast approaching, with a release date of October 30, 2025, on consoles and PC. The third-person multiplayer shooter with extraction will introduce a somewhat complex system for player progression.
Like other online titles such as Destiny 2 and Escape from Tarkov, ARC Raiders will frequently reset user progression. This feature allows the community to start on an equal footing at the beginning of a season or specific event. However, the process can also be relatively frustrating.
That’s why Embark Studios has announced Expedition Project, a voluntary progression reset system designed to respect players who have invested a lot of time in the game. It will be available from level 20 and will run on an approximately eight-week cycle. The entire community will contribute to the progress of this Expedition Project. Once completed, the progression reset will be available. If the project is not completed, the reset window may be postponed.
