Embark Studios‘ hit PS5 extraction shooter Arc Raiders recently surprised players with a gift for the holidays. To show their appreciation to everyone who has traversed outside Speranza, they have given all players 1,000 Raider Tokens, which can be used on cosmetics and other bundles.

Although all players will receive the free 1,000 Raider Tokens in Arc Raiders, players will need to redeem it so the in-game currency is added to their account. Doing so is very simple. Players just need to go into their in-game inbox, which is located at the top of the screen with an envelope icon. Just find the message pertaining to the gift, which should be titled “Happy Holidays!” and click “CLAIM” at the bottom of the message.
Although 1,000 Raider Tokens won’t get players full cosmetic bundles in Arc Raiders’ store, it is enough to get a couple of items that will give characters a bit more flair. For anyone who does want to grab a bundle, they cost around 1,500 Raider Tokens, which is around $15. However, since Embark Studios gave out 1,000, players can grab just 500 Raider Tokens to purchase one of the bundles currently available in the store.
Now is as good a time as any to start playing Arc Raiders. Embark Studios just released its latest update, Cold Snap. The new patch includes the Cold Snap map condition, which adds cold-weather survival mechanics to maps like Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport, and The Blue Gates. Essentially, players can experience frostbite if outside for too long and will begin losing health.
The Cold Snap update also features the Flickering Flames event, a personal progression type event with 25 levels of unlocks, including new gear, customizations, and Raider Tokens. Players must first play 5 rounds to activate the event. It will run between now and January 13, 2026, at 11:30 ET.
Arc Raiders is available for PS5 on the PlayStation Store for $39.99. It requires a PlayStation Plus subscription to play online.
