ARC Raiders players are calling for a much-needed quality of life feature that could make things much simpler in the popular online shooter.
If you’re an avid gamer who keeps up with current topics, it’s quite difficult to avoid any chatter regarding the third-person extraction shooter from the indie team at Embark Studios, with the aforementioned ARC Raiders.
“In ARC Raiders, gameplay flows between the surface ruled by lethal machines and the vibrant underground society of Speranza. Craft, repair, and upgrade your gear in the safety of your own workshop, before venturing topside to scavenge the remnants of a devastated but beautiful world,” reads the description of the game.
That being said, as fun as ARC Raiders is, trouble could be looming if the reports of hackers accessing the game are true.
The premise of ARC Raiders is to go into the large map, complete objectives, gather precious loot and try to end the game in one piece. In between, you’ll not only have mechanical beasts to contend with, but also other players who will most likely shoot on sight. So if possible, it’s always wise to have a friend watch your back.
All in all, since its launch in October 2025, Embark Studios has nailed a winning formula with ARC Raiders, and it looks like its momentum will continue to flow through 2026, or at least, I hope. Only time will tell.
ARC Raiders Players Want This Additional Feature

Going forward, there is one feature that some ARC Raiders players are calling for, and it’s a quality-of-life feature that is subtle, but perhaps more important than it seems.
“It would be nice if we could commit resources to our quests/upgrades for workbenches,” suggested Redditor Bruhhg.
Got to say – we agree! Having that easy upgrade for workbenches would make inventory management a lot easier.
“Gets tiring of having to clear stuff out of my stash when 90% of it is guns, crafting supplies, or stuff for quests/upgrades, but I just haven’t had one of the items to be able to commit them. If I could just give them my resources so they’re gone and out of my inventory,” they concluded.
“Good idea. Would help save/manage my inventory space,” said Staydownfoo.
“Or at least remove the tracking from stuff I already have enough of,” replied bot9987.
“Good idea,” agreed TinyFlair with LosYams, adding “Preach”
ARC Raiders is out now on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and it supports crossplay. I’m sure that throughout 2026, the developers will add plenty of new features to what is already a fantastic game.
