ARC Raiders Has Sold 14 Million Units, “Significantly Exceeded Expectations” Says Nexon

After more than 12.4 million units sold as of mid-January, Embark Studios’ ARC Raiders has hit a new milestone. Nexon’s fiscal year 2025 results revealed 14 million sales to date, which contributed to the company reaching “record-high” revenue and “significantly” exceeding expectations.

If that wasn’t enough, the extraction shooter peaked at 960,000 concurrent players last month across all platforms with six million weekly active players to date. While recent Steam numbers are down, most likely due to the lull in content, the 24-hour peak still hit a whopping 232,676 concurrent players – significantly above Battlefield 6’s 50,054 and Call of Duty’s 42,724.

ARC Raiders currently offers a co-op-focused event where players are encouraged to team up and take on the ARC. Cold Snap has also returned as a map condition after debuting last December, and is now permanently part of the rotation. There’s even more coming this month, from a map update to a new condition, Raider Deck, ARC threat, and Player Project.

Perhaps the only downside is that the first real map for the shooter won’t debut until April with the Riven Tides update (which also adds a massive new ARC that hopefully won’t crash servers). Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime, but suffice to say that Embark’s momentum isn’t facing any significant drops anytime soon.
