Aragorn Actor Vigo Mortensen Not Returning for ‘The Hunt for Gollum’ – IGN Daily Fix

In today’s Daily Fix:The role of Aragorn, son of Arathorn II, and heir to the Kingdom of Gondor, will be recast in the upcoming film, The Hunt for Gollum. No specific reason was given, however Viggo Mortensen, who played Aragorn in Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings film trilogy, did express interest in returning. Andy Serkis, who played Gollum in trilogy and is set to direct this new film, has said casting is already underway for a new actor. In other news, the Dead by Daylight developers have spilled the secret into creating a hit live-service game: don’t make a live-service game. Or at least, don’t set out to make one, just make a game with a fun gameplay loop, and live-service elements can come later.
