
Apple TV and Formula 1 announced a five-year-long partnership that will bring all F1 races exclusively to the streaming service in the United States beginning next year.
Apple TV continues to secure sports rights for its streaming service, and the latest market itโs diving into is Formula 1 racing after already securing a deal with MLB. Today, Apple and F1 have inked a multi-year deal following the team-up that saw the F1 film hit theatres. The F1 film starring Brad Pitt, raked in $629 million worldwide at the box office this year, making it the highest-grossing sports movie of all time and Pittโs highest-grossing feature to date. Both parties are united by a commitment to innovation and fan experience, and the partnership sets the stage for Formula 1โs continued growth in North America.

Under the agreement, Apple TV will deliver comprehensive coverage of Formula 1, with all practice, qualifying, Sprint sessions, and Grands Prix available to Apple TV subscribers at no extra cost. Select races and all practice sessions will be available in the Apple TV app throughout the season, featuring live updates for every qualifier, sprint, and race for each Grand Prix. The app will be updated with real-time leaderboards, season driver and constructor standings as the season continues. On top of improved functionality, Apple will amplify the sport across its suite of applications: Apple News, Apple Maps, Apple Music, and Apple Fitness+.

The new partnership means the F1 film is coming exclusively to the Apple streaming service, and Apple has announced it will make its streaming debut on December 12, 2025. Itโs worth noting that F1 TV Premium, F1โs own premier content offering, will continue to be available in the U.S. via an Apple TV subscription only and will be free for those who subscribe to Apple TV.
