After releasing the Switch 2 edition last month, Nintendo has rolled out a patch for Animal Crossing: New Horizons across all platforms. Switch and Switch 2 players can download update 3.0.1 now.
It only applies fixes to certain things. For example, the issue that caused the game to run slower than normal after leaving the island hotel has been fixed. This is also the case for items that could come out of a rock before being hit with a shovel, and for Timmy and Tommy stopping following the player inside Nook’s Cranny.
Finally, on Switch 2, the intensity of the controller’s vibrations has been adjusted, and clouds near the horizon that could appear misaligned outside on the island have been corrected. All changes have been listed on the Nintendo website.
