The Pokémon Company has opened an immersive space in London inspired by Pokémon Pokopia, a “Pokopia Garden”.
Open through September 30, 2026, this real-world installation captures the game’s atmosphere with a themed garden featuring plants, terrariums, and natural scenery that evoke this cozy world.
The experience aims to offer visitors a moment of relaxation while extending the game’s immersion into the real world. It also includes interactive elements, particularly for Pokémon GO players, with special content accessible on-site.
Peter Murphy, Senior Marketing Director at The Pokémon Company, said:
“In Pokémon Pokopia, players create a Pokémon paradise where everyone can live. We wanted to bring that same sense of growth and joy to real-world communities by creating a space imbued with the magic of Pokémon Pokopia and open to everyone.”
The event is part of a series of marketing stunts surrounding the game, which has been a huge success since its release. Open to the public free of charge, the venue aims to attract both fans of the franchise and the curious. This type of initiative demonstrates Pokémon’s commitment to developing immersive physical experiences beyond the video game.
