The future looks bright for CD Projekt RED. Several projects are in development, including the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2 and The Witcher 4. These projects (and others) have recently been the subject of much discussion.
First of all, it’s important to note that the following information comes from analyst Mateusz Chrzanowski, who works for Noble Securities. This is therefore primarily analysis and predictions rather than more or less substantiated rumors. As such, what follows could be partially or even completely false.
Chrzanowski first mentioned the arrival of new DLC for The Witcher 3 in May 2026. This could be sold for around β¬30. It would serve as a launch pad for the marketing campaign for the fourth installment. The budget for this additional content would be around β¬12.3 million.
The release of The Witcher 4 is estimated to be around the fourth quarter of 2027. For now, the budget allocated to the production of the title is estimated to be approximately $39 million. The Fool’s Theory team, which is working on the remake of The Witcher 1, has reportedly been assigned to the development of The Witcher 4. As a result, the remake is not expected to be released before 2028.
Finally, Cyberpunk 2 could come out in time for the 10th anniversary of Cyberpunk 2077, around December 2030.
