Sony has surprised players with not one, but two day-one games in PS Plus Extra, Premium December 2025 catalog. Both games will release early in December, so players don’t have to wait for the third Tuesday of the month, like they typically do.
Three PS Plus Extra, Premium December 2025 games confirmed early
As confirmed yesterday, the first PS Plus Extra game to release in December is the intriguing Skate Story, which will be available on Monday, the 8th. It’s a skateboarding game with a unique twist and vibrant art.
“You are a demon in the Underworld, made out of glass and pain,” reads an official overview. “The Devil has given you a skateboard with a simple deal: Skate to the Moon and swallow it, and you shall be freed.”
The second day-one game is Red Dead Redemption 1’s native PS5 port, which will also be free for existing owners. The game will launch on Wednesday, December 10.
Last but not least, Premium users will be treated to PS2 classic Soulcalibur III for PS5 and PS4. Since it’s a Bandai Namco classic, don’t expect any trophies. The game will release as part of the regular catalog refresh, which will fall on December 16.
