Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 lets you customize your appearance, clan, and vampire powers, but more importantly, it lets you pick your vampire outfit. While you can’t mix and match pieces, there are 24 outfits in total to choose from. Outfits are unlocked by unlocking new abilities from the skill tree, using ability points.
For the abilities specific to your chosen clan, all you will need to do is earn enough skill points to unlock the skills. For skills from other clans, you will need to earn currency from Blood Resonance activities. There are three types, indicated by the different colors of blue, red, and purple, which correlate to the Blood Resonance activity icons on the map and the color of the person’s aura when using your Vampire Sense. With enough currency, you will need to visit that specific clan representative at their base and unlock the ability in the tree, before you can unlock them in the tree with skill points. Abilities from other clans cost more ability points, but the cost can be lowered by gaining Clan Affinity. The skill tree is sorted by clan, so you can check which clan representative you need to check with.
Each outfit is tied to a specific ability and will be unlocked in the menu when you unlock that skill. You do not need to use that ability to wear the outfit or vice versa; they are only linked in terms of unlocking them, not being able to use them. Below you can see every outfit, along with the specific skill you need to unlock to obtain the outfit. The outfits are identical regardless of body type. Each image is titled with the name of the outfit, followed by the ability name.
