An acclaimed 2020 PS4 action RPG is 80% off in a new limited-time PS Store deal. Developed by Airship Syndicate and published by THQ Nordic, Darksiders Genesis is a hack-and-slash RPG that serves both as a spin-off and a prequel to the popular Darksiders series. The game is playable on PS5 via backwards compatibility.
Darksiders Genesis is just $7.99 in November’s PS Store deal
Darksiders Genesis can be yours for just $7.99 if you purchase it before November 22. The game earned positive reviews upon release from players and critics (including PlayStation LifeStyle), with many praising its combat, art style, and writing.
Darksiders Genesis is played from a top-down perspective. It includes support for two-player co-op multiplayer (PS Plus required).
“From the dawn of creation, the Council has maintained the Balance across existence,” reads an official overview. “Carrying out their orders are the Horsemen, Nephilim, who have pledged themselves to the Council and been granted immense power. However, this power came at a tragic cost: the Horsemen were ordered to use their newfound strength to wipe out the rest of their kind.”
Darksiders Genesis went on to become a commercial success. Parent company Embracer Group previously said that the game’s sales exceeded its expectations.
