Acclaimed PS Plus Games Removed From Catalog Without Notice

PS Plus games

Two acclaimed PS Plus games have been suddenly removed from the Extra catalog without notice, and players aren’t happy about it. Subscribers noticed that both Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition and Totally Reliable Delivery Service were no longer on the service, and we can confirm that their PS Store pages don’t carry the PS Plus Extra tag at the time of this writing.

PS Plus games possibly removed from Extra catalog due to PS Store glitch

Although there have been cases in the past where games were removed from PS Plus without notice, it rarely happens, and we have reason to believe that both the aforementioned games were temporarily removed due to a PS Store issue.

Totally Reliable Delivery Service recently received a PS5 upgrade and has changed publishers (from tinyBuild to Atari), so its SKU has been updated. For some reason, PS Store updates often break things, as we saw in the case of Sayonara Wild Hearts. Following the game’s PS5 port, it vanished from the Extra catalog for several weeks before returning.

We’re not sure what the story is behind Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition’s PS Plus removal, but we’ll keep an eye on the situation and keep our readers posted.

In related news, another game has been added to the list of titles leaving PS Plus in December. More on that here.
