Absolum was one of the biggest surprises of 2025. Dotemu’s beat ’em up roguelite sold very well and is poised to maintain this excellent momentum next year.
To that end, the developers have announced that update 1.1 will be released in early 2026. Of course, it won’t just contain fixes. Players will also have access to new challenges with theMythic Trials, which will add a good dose of difficulty with exclusive rewards.
We will also see the appearance of corrupted regions visible on the map. Players will have to traverse them in hopes of finding greater rewards. Mounts will benefit from notable improvements, notably with the arrival of elite mounts. These are presented as faster, stronger, and more massive.
Finally, additional emotes and skins for each hero will be included.
