When Resident Evil Requiem is released on February 27, the two previous entries will also be coming to Switch 2. These versions will run natively on Nintendo’s console. Remember that Switch 1 only had cloud editions.
On YouTube, the channel ElAnalistaDeBits has posted an analysis of this Switch 2 version of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Gold Edition. It runs at 1080p in docked mode and 900p in portable mode. Both modes benefit from a constant frame rate of 60 frames per second.
There are no noticeable visual differences between TV and portable modes. Only a few reflections and shadows have been reworked. In portable mode, Resident Evil 7 appears to have extremely sharp graphics.
The retail price for this Switch 2 version is set at €39.99.
