Saudi Arabia-based investment firm Electronic Gaming Development Company has further increased its stake in Capcom.
Already the owner of SNK (Fatal Fury), the company acquired a 5.03% stake in Capcom last March. Less than a month later, that stake rose to 6.04%. This brings the number of shares held by Electronic Gaming Development Company from 26.78 million to 32.18 million.
Thus, the company has become a “major shareholder” in the Japanese publisher. The fund states that this decision is a “pure investment.”
