When it was released in October 2008, Dead Space immediately established itself as a staple of the survival horror genre. The title from Visceral Games made a lasting impression with its terrifying atmosphere, horrific Necromorphs, and graphics that were breathtaking for the time.
Today, we have the opportunity to see images from a prototype of Dead Space. This is a development version dating from April 2007. While the rendering is fairly close to the final game, there are some bugs and certain effects are missing.
Remember that Dead Space got a remake in January 2023.
