Bluepoint Games is hiring for a new third-person action game

Earlier this year, Bluepoint Games canceled development of a live service God of War. Now, the PlayStation-owned studio is working on something else.

The team has posted job listings for a new project that requires experience in third-person melee action games. The future developer will work on AI gameplay, character controls, and character balancing. Combat will undoubtedly be at the heart of the game experience.

Now we need to find out whether this is a new franchise, a sequel, or a remake, which is Bluepoint’s area of expertise. We owe these teams the remasters of God of War Collection, Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection, and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. As for remakes, the company is behind Shadow of the Colossus on PS4 and Demon’s Souls on PS5.
