How to evolve Applin into Flapple, Appletun, and Dipplin in Pokémon Go

Applin has made its Pokémon Go debut, alongside its two original evolutions, Flapple and Appletun, and its other evolutions Dipplinand Hydrapple, added in a later event. With Applin, there’s a (kind of) new mechanic in the game that involves picking up items off the floor — something we saw vaguely tested during the April Fools’ 2025 event with Poké Balls.
