Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 released last April and still hides references and other Easter eggs to well-known works. Since the game is heavily inspired by the Square Enix franchise, it’s no surprise to find nods to Final Fantasy, for example.
However, in an interview with Eurogamer, creative director Guillaume Broche said that there are other secrets that players have yet to discover.
“There are some, but I don’t want to mention them because then they won’t be secrets anymore. Maybe they’ve been found, but I haven’t seen anything about it. There are still things, yes.
“The funny thing is that [fans] have found secrets that weren’t secrets at all to begin with. And we’re like, ‘okay cool, I guess that’s a secret’!”*
