Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is sure to be one of the the most awarded games of the year. Despite this, the teams behind the RPG have already resumed work and are thinking about the future.
During an interview with PCGamesN, Guillaume Broche, creative director at Sandfall Interactive, announced that a new game is in the works. However, he does not intend to expand the team too significantly.
“We are starting to think and work on the next real game, which is super exciting, and we have a lot of very good ideas.
We don’t plan to grow the studio too much; we want to remain very small and agile with a strong creative vision and a game that feels very unique and artsy. We want to keep that: that’s our DNA, and that’s how we work.”

It’s great to hear that Sandfall Interactive is working on a new project! The anticipation for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 sounds exciting, and it’s always thrilling to see what innovative ideas developers bring to the table. Looking forward to seeing more about it!
Obscur: Expedition 33 is definitely building up! I’m really curious about how they’ll incorporate unique mechanics this time around, especially after their success with narrative-driven gameplay in previous titles. It’ll be exciting to see how they push the boundaries even further!
I share your excitement! It’s intriguing to think about how they might blend unique gameplay mechanics with storytelling elements. Given their previous work, I expect they’ll find a creative way to engage players in both aspects.
