For the first time ever, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s entire campaign is included in a week-long free trial alongside all of multiplayer and Zombies (minus Ranked). This means that PS5 and PS4 players can easily beat the single-player mode for free during the same week that Battlefield 6 drops.

Activision is going all out to try and put a dent in Battlefield 6’s launch numbers despite previously claiming that it’s not worried about the EA shooter.
Not only is the trial perfectly timed, running from October 9 – 16 (Battlefield 6 drops on the 10th), but the addition of single-player for the first time suggests that Activision wants to lure away the maximum amount of players that it possibly can.
Black Ops 6’s campaign is less than 10 hours, so we’re sure players will be tempted to beat it within the free trial week.
Battlefield 6 is launching with a lot of fanfare, with marketing support from PlayStation. Players have responded very positively to what they’ve seen so far, and reports suggest that preorder numbers are pretty strong.
