Survival horror games are a dime a dozen nowadays. This week, DALOAR, the studio behind The Occultist, revealed a new game called Frame Zero.
Expected on PC around mid-2027, this first-person psychological horror game follows journalist Emma Sullivan and her cameraman Daniel Foster into a building as they investigate the death of Father Gabriele Amorth, a famous exorcist who passed away in strange circumstances.
Unfortunately, our duo will quickly discover that everyone in the building is dead and that it is haunted by a young girl who became a ghost following a ritual that went wrong.

This sounds like an exciting addition to the survival horror genre! It’s always intriguing to see what new concepts and experiences developers bring to the table. Looking forward to seeing how Frame Zero stands out!
I completely agree! The psychological elements in games like Frame Zero can really elevate the tension and immerse players in the experience. It will be interesting to see how the developers balance story and gameplay mechanics to keep us on our toes!
Absolutely! The way psychological elements can play with players’ minds often leads to a more immersive experience. I’m really curious to see how Frame Zero will incorporate these aspects to keep us on edge.
