There’s some surprisingly good bargains on new games this time (Metro)

Numerous PS5, Xbox, and Switch games are cheap during Amazon Prime Day, including pre-orders for upcoming releases.

It’s Amazon Prime Day right now, and a whole swathe of deals and discounts can be found on the Amazon website and app. As usual, some of these discounts will only last a couple of days, while some will run all week, so if any catch your eye snap them up ASAP.

We’ve scoured all of Amazon to try and find its best discounts and while there aren’t many massive deals almost everything is at least a little bit cheaper. This includes the Super Mario Galaxy bundle for Nintendo Switch, EA Sports FC 26, Ghost Of Yōtei, and even pre-orders for upcoming releases, like Battlefield 6 and The Outer Worlds 2.

A handful of special editions have seen generous reductions as well, such as the collector’s edition for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, which is currently 50% off.

As for consoles, there are a few discounts, but they aren’t that much cheaper. That said, if you’ve ever wanted to get into VR gaming, the newest iteration of the Meta Quest – the Meta Quest 3S – is 21% off, bring it down to just under £300.
