Amazon is the retailer to beat when it comes to offering deals to compete with Amazon’s October Prime Day event. Walmart has proven to be a contender this year, matching the prices on several discounts and marking down many other tech products that we think you’ll like. Its sale event, simply called “Walmart Deals,” runs through Sunday, October 12, giving you plenty of time to save — no membership required. There are great deals below on gaming products, 4K TVs, laptops, even compact electric tire pumps, and more.
Whether you’re trying to shop less at Amazon or you just want to see what other retailers are offering in the run-up to the holidays, we’ve rounded up the best competing Prime Day deals you can currently grab at Walmart. We’re on the hunt this week for noteworthy deals to add to this post.

Where to Buy:
- The CMF Buds Pro 2, which launched last summer for $59, are down to $47 at Walmart. The feature-packed earbuds support hybrid active noise cancellation, spatial audio, and — most delightfully — come with a charging case equipped with a customizable dial. “A dial for what?,” you might ask? Well, you can customize it to adjust volume, manage media playback, activate a voice assistant, or mute the mic while on a video call. The Pro 2 come from Nothing, makers of the Nothing Phone and other minimalist devices.
- Here’s another great CMF deal that’s perfect for anyone looking for a sleek smartwatch for their iPhone or Android phone, one priced under $50. The CMF Watch Pro 2 comes right under the wire at $49 (was $69) at Walmart. It’s a remarkable price considering the smartwatch features a 1.32-inch OLED screen, built-in GPS, and a replaceable bezel to suit your style.

Where to Buy:
- Sony’s DualSense Wireless Controller is a must-have if you own a PlayStation 5, but it’s also a great companion if you have a PC, Steam Deck, or a different Windows-powered gaming handheld. Whichever platform(s) you plan to use it on, you can save on both the white and starlight blue models at Walmart. Those usually sell for $74.88, but right now you can snag either for around $66. We’ve seen slightly cheaper prices before, but it’s been a while since there’s been any kind of discount.
- Lenovo’s Legion 5 gaming laptop seems like a great value now that it’s on sale for $949 (about $300 off) at Walmart. It has specs that I’m surprised to find in a sub-$1,000 machine, including a 15.1-inch OLED screen, a capable AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor, and Nvidia’s RTX 5060 graphics chip. It features 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB SSD, too, both of which are user-upgradeable.
