Infinity Festival reveals Disney Games, Naughty Dog, Netflix, and Marvel Games talk

Head of Disney Games Group Jay Ong will present one of the keynotes at this year’s Infinity Festival, as part of its Gaming and Sports and Technology series.

The event takes place on October 9–10 at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and newly opened Sony Pictures Imageworks Mid-Wilshire campus.

“As Infinity Festival continues to grow, we’re proud to expand our programming to reflect the innovation we’re seeing across gaming, sports, and technology,” said founder and CEO Mark Lieber and CCO Adam Newman.

“Our mission has always been to celebrate the creators and technologists driving the future of storytelling, and this year’s lineup showcases just how powerful that intersection can be.”

Some of the people behind Netflix’s summer smash K-pop Demon Hunters, Michelle Wong, Producer, Jacky Priddle, VFX Producer, and Josh Beveridge, Head of Character Animation at Sony Pictures Imageworks are headlining the event.

Other speakers include Jed Harmsen, VP and GM of Cinema & Group Entertainment, Dolby Laboratories, as well as top executives at Nvidia, HP, AMD, the Belgium Economic Mission, Dolby, AWS and the AI Studio Lab in association with ETC at USC. The festival’s Sports Technology programming is presented by Vyvx Broadcast Solutions by Lumen.

“Infinity Festival has always been about exploring the intersection of creativity and technology, and this year we’re taking that to the next level,” said Phil Hong and Scott Shaw of the Infinity Festival Programming Team.

“With dedicated programming in gaming and our first-ever Sports and Technology stream, audiences will see firsthand how innovation is shaping the future of media, storytelling, and entertainment experiences.”

GamesIndustry.biz‘s sister site IGN will join as a presenting media sponsor and will be featured in the programming.
