A beautiful, scenic farm, located directly on top of a mountain, surrounded by clouds and waterfalls, can now be yours in Stardew Valleyâ and you donât have to pay a penny to get your hands on it.
If you’ve played through Stardew Valley close to a dozen times, like I have, you may find yourself bored with the current variety of farm types on offer.
Admittedly, I do have my favourites. The Riverland Farm is probably my personal fave, especially because the lack of buildable tiles on the map lead you to get extra resourceful with your farm planning. I am, however, very partial to the Beach Farm (but that’s mostly just because it looks very pretty).
I do hate the Wilderness Farm with a passion, though. The vibes are cool, but I am not a fan of the constant swarm of bats pecking at my head every time I’m trying to plant some seeds and organise my storage.
My point is that Iâve tried them all, and Iâd say that Iâd probably not bother trying half of them ever again. But Iâm also a bit worried that, should I start another playthrough, I might end up becoming bored of a farm type that I already love.
Thankfully, mods are here to save the day, because the latest custom farm type over on Nexus is making me want to start up another playthrough already.
Lnh’s Peak Tower Farm by mod author LiuNianHui over on Nexus is, as the name may imply, a new farm starting location, situated at the top of a mountain.
If youâre on the fence about giving this a go, I would implore you to check out the beautiful screenshots on the modâs Nexus page. If that doesnât sway you, hereâs what the commenters have to say about it.
âWow wow wow! What a beautiful farm! You really outdid yourself this timeâ commented user chokichii.
âI love watching the backdrop of the sky surrounded by fluffy clothes and running waterfalls. I’m going to have to start a new save file again so that I can play your modded farm map!â
âThis map is breathtaking!!â replied user pitpotpol.
Just keep in mind that this mod will replace the Standard Farm map, so there may be some compatibility issues if youâve already started up another save file with that map.
And if you like the vibes of this one, but youâre not 100% sold on it, check out the rest of LiuNianHuiâs mods on Nexus, because it seems that custom farm types are their bread and butter.
