The Kojima Productions license is set to extend far beyond video games. In addition to the live-action feature film already announced, an animated film called Death Stranding was shown this week.
Provisionally titled Death Stranding Mosquito, this adaptation is directed by Hiroshi Miyamoto and written by Aaron Guzikowski. ABC Animation Studio is handling the animation work. Miyamoto previously worked at SEGA on Sonic Generations and Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
