Since then, Resident Evil has gone on to become one of the most popular properties in the video game industry with its next entry arriving early next year on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2.
Resident Evil Requiem takes us back to Raccoon City, roughly 30 years after the US government dropped a nuke on it in an attempt to cover up the T-Virus outbreak caused by the sinister pharmaceutical company Umbrella Corps.

In the UK, Resident Evil Requiem has an RRP of ÂŁ69.99 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and ÂŁ59.99 on the Nintendo Switch 2. The PC version on Steam is yet to be priced.
With the price of everything going up nowadays, such as some major AAA games having an RRP of £79.99 for a standard edition, it’s nice to see Capcom has frozen the price on a game that is garnering so much hype.
These prices are for the standard version of the game and do not include any Deluxe or Collector’s Editions, which will, of course, be quite a bit more expensive in the likelihood of them being announced.
