New Anime Stardew Valley Might Finally Be Worth Playing on August 18

After being in Steam Early Access for nearly 6 months, Starsand Island‘s 1.0 launch is officially happening on August 18, 2026. Despite being a massive fan of farm life sims like Stardew Valley, and someone who is always on the lookout for a similar game that could satiate my desire for more, I have yet to play Starsand Island during its Early Access period, but I might actually give it a try on August 18 if all goes well. In the end, it depends on whether the changes and improvements it has received throughout Early Access are enough to make me click that “Add to Cart” button, because my first experience with the game was, to put it quite bluntly, exceedingly awful.
