The Steam Machine’s technical specifications have significantly disappointed internet users and analysts alike. In fact, its performance sometimes lags behind that of the PS5 on games like Alan Wake 2.
In response to this criticism, Valve has made a change to the page dedicated to its console. In the CPU and GPU section, the company has removed the statement claiming the ability to play in 4K at 60 FPS. Now, only 4K resolution with FSR 4.1 is specified.
“Up to 4K gaming with FSR 4.1, thanks to a discrete sem-custom AMD desktop class CPU and GPU.”
