3 Fantasy Shows With Better Battles Than House of the Dragon, Ranked

House of the Dragonhas just kicked off its third season with the Battle of the Gullet, one of the most epic and large-scale conflicts in George R. R. Martin’s lore. The Game of Thrones prequel series has spent two seasons leading up to the Dance of the Dragons, and though it took some time, fans couldn’t be happier to see the massive Targaryen civil war finally begin to play out on screen. The Battle of the Gullet is one particularly great conflict in House of the Dragon, and Season 2’s Battle of Rook’s Rest was another highlight thanks to its breathtaking dragon-on-dragon fight. Though the HBO show has some great fight scenes, a few other fantasy shows boast even better action.
