Summer Game Fest kicked off on Friday with a two-hour extravaganza full of game announcements and world premiere trailers. Hosts Geoff Keighley and Lucy James brought out tons of game updates, new reveals, and a few surprises, giving gaming fans flashbacks to the salad days of E3. There were some expected showings and plenty of big reveals, including the return of a highly anticipated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game, a new Resident Evil remake, a new Cuphead game, and more. The big show-ending news was Square Enix’s full reveal of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, which is coming surprisingly soon.
