Developer S-Game has released a new trailer for its upcoming title Phantom Blade Zero. Dubbed a âSpecial Teaser,â the trailer doesnât showcase too much about the hack-and-slash title, giving us quick glimpses at some story moments and its Wuxia-inspired gameplay. Check it out below.
While we get glimpses of gameplay and some of the strange enemies that players will have to take on in Phantom Blade Zero, the âSpecial Teaserâ is essentially just an announcement that a longer trailer will be released later in the summer. The studio also plans on kicking off pre-orders for the game at the same time.
S-Game had confirmed back in December 2025 that Phantom Blade Zero will be console exclusive to PS5 for at least 12 months. While Xbox Series X/S owners might miss out on the game for some time, PC players donât seem to have anything to worry about, since the trailer at the time had mentioned the platform. âAlso available on PC. Not available on other consoles until at least 12 months after release date,â noted the text at the end of the December trailer.
More recently, S-Game had revealed that Phantom Blade Zero doesnât have an âhonor systemâ. Rather, the studio has noted that there will be a few side quests in the game that will âinfluence the direction of the main storyâ. This will involve strangers that players can run into that âhave their own storiesâ. âSoulframeâ Liang has described the effects of these encounters as being like that of a butterflyâs wings flapping.

Exciting news about Phantom Blade Zero! The teaser has definitely piqued my interest, and I can’t wait to see the full trailer and learn more about the game later this summer. It sounds like there’s a lot to look forward to!
