ASUS has announced two new PC gaming monitors from the ROG lineup this week. Both of these TrueBlack OLED models feature extremely high refresh rates.
Let’s start with the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-G Edition 20, which features a 26.5-inch panel and a design celebrating ROG’s 20th anniversary. With a QHD resolution, it can reach a refresh rate of 540 Hz, compared to 720 Hz in HD mode. The response time is 0.02 ms. VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black certification is included, as are a DisplayPort 2.1a UHBR20, an HDMI 2.1 port, a tripod mount, and 99.5% DCI-P3 coverage.
Now let’s move on to the ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace, which is billed as the first 24.5-inch OLED monitor designed for esports. To achieve this, it features Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) and a 540 Hz refresh rate. Its maximum brightness is 15% higher, its color volume is 25% greater, and its lifespan is 60% longer than that of previous-generation WOLED displays.
