The AMD Ryzen 7 7700X3D processor launches on July 16 at $329

AMD has just confirmed its new processor featuring 3D V-Cache technology for the AM5 platform. It is the Ryzen 7 7700X3D, which is expected to launch worldwide on July 16, 2026. Its price is set at $329.

It is an 8-core, 16-thread Zen 4 model with a base clock speed of 4.0 GHz and capable of reaching a turbo clock speed of 4.5 GHz. Additionally, the Ryzen 7 7700X3D features 104 MB of cache and a TDP of 120 W.

Overall, this processor is less powerful than the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. The latter notably has a higher base clock speed of 4.2 GHz (and 5.0 GHz in turbo mode).

Finally, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D will be available in a 10th Anniversary Edition starting June 25 for $349. It has the same technical specifications as the original processor.
