DC characters don’t have the best reputation in movies and TV, and no one knows this better than Green Lantern fans. However, James Gunn and Peter Safran’s rebooted DCU offers new hope for these ill-translated characters, and an exciting new trailer for the upcoming Lanterns show has already got fans excited. This is especially true, considering the characters’ troubled history in 2011’s Green Lantern,Green Lantern: The Animated Series,First Flight, Emerald Knights, and Beware My Power, all of which received negative or mixed reviews.
