Darksiders Warmastered Edition finally has a native version for current-generation consoles. The remaster of the hack-and-slash game originally released in 2010 is now playable on PS5 and Xbox Series, complete with several technical improvements.
Unfortunately, PlayStation players aren’t in the same boat as those on Microsoft consoles. While the upgrade is free on the latter, that’s not the case on PS5. Those who own a PS4 copy must pay $9.99 to get the PS5 upgrade. We don’t know the reason behind this decision.
For those who want to buy Darksiders Warmastered Edition on these consoles without a prior version, they’ll have to shell out €29.99.
