Sony has just announced another price hike. Following the consoles, it’s now PlayStation Plus’ turn.
Starting May 20, 2026, PlayStation Plus Essential will cost €9.99 / $10.99 / £7.99 per month, up from the current €8.99. The three-month subscription will be €27.99 / $27.99 / £21.99 instead of €24.99. This increase will apply only to new subscribers. The new prices will take effect upon subscription expiration or when switching plans.
To justify the change, the company cites “ongoing market conditions”. The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers are not affected.
