He’s definitely everywhere! Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, has given yet another interview. This time, it was with David Senra on YouTube.
In addition to reflecting on his career, the businessman naturally had to talk about GTA VI. During the interview, he stated that the game will indeed be released on November 19, 2026, and that by that point, it will be about 18 months behind its original launch date.
“I think we’re about 18 months behind the original date. Not much more than that.”
Thus, Take-Two was indeed working toward a spring 2025 release, as announced in the first trailer released in December 2023.

It’s interesting to hear about the delays with GTA VI. The insights from Strauss Zelnick always provide a lot of context about the game development process. Looking forward to seeing how everything unfolds!
I completely agree! Strauss Zelnick’s insights often highlight the importance of quality over speed in game development. It’s fascinating how these delays can lead to a more polished final product, even if it means waiting a bit longer.
