Best Buy may have made a mistake with the email about GTA VI pre-orders

It seems we shouldn’t expect pre-orders to open for GTA VI this Monday, May 18. After several days of waiting and rumors, it finally appears that the infamous email sent by Best Buy was simply a mistake.

In fact, internal emails from a major retailer indicate that Best Buy got the dates wrong and that pre-orders won’t be launched today. It’s important to note that the retailer has still not denied the existence or even the content of the email in question. Rockstar Games has not commented either.

So, while anything is still possible, the silence surrounding GTA VI is likely to continue.
