Ubisoft has pulled out all the stops to promote Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced, which is set to release on July 9 for consoles and PC.
The French publisher has decided to launch a real-life treasure hunt in partnership with Unsolved Hunts. To participate in « Gold & Crystal », players must purchase a bundle priced from €34.99 up to €159.99. The more expensive the edition, the more exclusive content it contains to enhance the experience.
Next, participants must solve a total of 15 puzzles to uncover a chest buried deep in the Caribbean. Once the location is found, participants must submit the coordinates via the treasure hunt interface. The first person to provide the correct answer will win a chest containing gold coins and a crystal skull set with a gemstone. The total value of the prize is $500,000.
