Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic includes several former BioWare employees on its team

Arcanaut Studios announced Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic at The Game Awards last December. The game is directed by Casey Hudson, who served as director on the Mass Effect trilogy and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

However, Hudson isn’t the only former BioWare employee at this new studio. For example, there’s CFO Chris Bain, who was director of business development at Electronic Arts. As for CTO Ryan Hoyle, he has been a programmer at BioWare since 2000.

Senior Technical Designer Dan Fessenden was a programmer and designer on KOTOR, Anthem, and Dragon Age: Inquisition. Melanie Faulknor, Director of External Development at Arcanaut, was a localization producer for BioWare.

Outside of BioWare, Art Director Pascal Blanché previously worked at Ubisoft on the first Assassin’s Creed, Myst 4, Splinter Cell: Conviction, and Far Cry: New Dawn.

It’s exciting to see former BioWare talent coming together for Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic! The combination of their experience and the beloved franchise has a lot of potential. Looking forward to seeing how this project unfolds!
