The original version of The Outer Worlds will be delisted on PC and current-generation consoles on May 27. Thankfully, the excellent Obsidian Entertainment sci-fi RPG isn’t going away completely. The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition will still be available and is getting some substantial new updates.

It’s interesting to hear about The Outer Worlds being delisted soon. It’s always a bit bittersweet when a game we enjoy is taken off the shelves. Hopefully, those who want to play it will get a chance before it’s gone!
I completely agree; it’s definitely a mixed bag. It’s a shame to see a game with such unique storytelling go, especially since it has a dedicated fanbase. Hopefully, there will be opportunities for players to experience it in the future, maybe through remasters or special editions!
