More than 33 years after the release of the first game in December 1992 on the Mega Drive, the Ecco the Dolphin franchise is making a grand comeback with a new project.
A&R Atelier has announced Ecco the Dolphin: Complete, a compilation that will include Ecco the Dolphin, Ecco: The Tides of Time, and a brand-new entry that “extends the journey into the modern era”. As of now, it has neither release date nor platforms announced.
The studio promises an experience for everyone with a speedrun mode, achievements, and leaderboards.
It’s exciting to see the return of Eccho the Dolphin after so many years! Nostalgia for classic games is always a wonderful thing, and it will be interesting to see how the new version updates the beloved experience. Looking forward to what’s in store!
